We are looking to recruit a person to learn and train in our flat lapping and special manufacturing departments
Ideally the candidate will have had some experience of manual machining, toolmaking or flat lapping.
In this role you will be based in Corby and will be setting up and operating manual machines such as Jones & Shipman grinding machines, Bridgeport milling machines and Colchester/Harrison lathes along with our lapping machines
Skills & Experience Required:
Toolmaking, lapping or manual machining experience
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Able to use measuring equipment
Ability to work on own as well as part of a team and to meet schedules & delivery times
Training for the right candidate
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 39 per week
