We are currently recruiting on behalf of a confidential manufacturing business for an experienced Production Planner to join their growing operation.

🔧 What you’ll be doing:
📅 Planning and coordinating production schedules
📊 Maximising machine utilisation and workflow efficiency
🧠 Using nesting software to optimise material usage
🤝 Liaising with internal teams, suppliers & customers
📦 Supporting material planning & purchasing activities
📈 Monitoring production performance & KPIs
🔄 Driving continuous improvement initiatives
💡 Supporting cost efficiency and production optimisation
🎯 What we’re looking for:
✔ Experience in production planning / manufacturing / engineering environment
✔ Strong organisational and communication skills
✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
✔ Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
⭐ Highly Desirable:
🔹 Experience with BySoft or similar nesting software
🔹 Background in CNC / laser cutting / subcontract manufacturing
🔹 ERP/MRP system experience (e.g. Sage)
🔹 Forklift licence
🔹 Understanding of production KPIs
