We are currently recruiting Fettling Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced automotive engineering environment in Burton Latimer.
This is a hands-on role working with aluminium castings used in automotive components, helping ensure parts are finished to the highest quality before moving further through production.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Shift: Monday – Thursday, 2:00pm – 12:00am (Ongoing Work)
What you’ll be doing:
- Using hand tools to de-burr and finish aluminium components
- Operating within a busy manufacturing and machine-based production environment
- Checking parts carefully to ensure quality standards are met
- Keeping your workstation organised and working safely at all times
- Working closely with the wider production team to keep operations running smoothly
This role would suit someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work, can think on their feet, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting.

- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Comfortable working in a hands-on engineering environment
- Experience using hand tools would be an advantage, but full training can be provided
Please note this role can be dirty and physically hands-on, but all safety equipment will be provided.
