£14.77 – Mixing Operatives (Corby)

ECHO Personnel is seeking reliable and motivated Mixing Operatives to join our client’s busy food production facility in Corby, Northamptonshire.

Our client, is a well-established bakery specialising in the production of high-quality bread products. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, with full training provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and mixing ingredients according to production requirements and recipes
• Weighing and measuring ingredients accurately to ensure product consistency
• Operating and monitoring industrial mixing equipment
• Handling and lifting bags of ingredients weighing up to 25kg, following safe manual handling procedures
• Ensuring all ingredients are correctly prepared and available for production
• Following food safety, hygiene, and quality control procedures
• Monitoring mixing processes to maintain consistent product quality
• Keeping production areas and equipment clean, organised, and safe
• Working efficiently to meet daily production targets
• Reporting any equipment issues or quality concerns to supervisors
• Following all company health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience in food production, bakery operations, or mixing is desirable but not essential
• Full training provided for candidates willing to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Ability to safely handle and lift bags of ingredients weighing up to 25kg
• Good attention to detail when weighing and preparing ingredients
• Willingness to learn how to operate industrial mixing equipment
• Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and food safety procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards
• Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
• Flexibility to work rotating day and night shifts

Shift Pattern:

4 Days On – 4 Days Off – 4 Nights On – 4 Days Off (Rotating)

• Day Shifts: 6:00am – 6:00pm (4 consecutive shifts)
• 4 Days Off
• Night Shifts: 6:00pm – 6:00am (4 consecutive shifts)
• 4 Days Off

This rotating shift pattern repeats throughout the year.

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire

Pay Rate: £14.77 per hour

Overtime: Available and paid at time and a half (£22.16 per hour)
