Machine Operators £33480

The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining converting machinery to produce high-quality products according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating converting equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Operate converting machinery to produce products according to job specifications and quality standards.

Set up and adjust machine settings such as speed, temperature, and pressure to ensure optimal performance.

Monitor machine operations to detect defects or malfunctions and take corrective action as needed.

Conduct routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as necessary.

Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Keep accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, downtime, and product counts.

Previous experience as a machine operator

Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
